About Best Month To
Best Month To is a static climate reference for travel planning. It answers “best time to visit” and “weather in this city in this month” using publicly available scientific data, not invented placeholders.
Who runs this
The site is owned and published by Ronald Vorstenbosch. It is an independent reference at bestmonthto.com, not affiliated with NASA, GeoNames, or Google beyond the public data and advertising products named in Privacy and Terms. The pages are generated from monthly climate normals; they are not a booking engine and they do not sell personal data.

What you will find
- Monthly average highs, lows, rainfall totals, rainy days, and humidity
- A written climate narrative for each indexable city, generated from that city’s own monthly figures
- Country pages that contrast cities and list best-scoring months by region
- NASA POWER daily observations for 2001–2020, aggregated into monthly normals
How it is funded
The site is supported by Google AdSense Auto ads. Cookie and advertising choices are explained in the Privacy Policy. European visitors will see Google’s certified consent message; use Privacy choices in the footer to change that decision later.
Data quality
Temperatures are satellite/reanalysis grid averages and can differ from airport station normals by a few degrees. Nearby cities that fall in the same NASA POWER cell share one climate series; those extra city pages stay online for users but are not indexed. We do not display a metric unless it is computed from that source. Details are on Data Sources and Methodology.
